The “International Business Transactions” Special Program has been designed to meet the complex needs of practicing attorneys and advanced Law students, from a range of backgrounds, interested in gaining first-hand knowledge and practical tools in the field of INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS, Specially INTERNATIONAL SALES OF GOODS UNDER VIENA 80‘.
The program consists of 11 classes given in English, with a practical approach and with the use of the case-method.

- “Practice in International Sales of Goods”
- “International Jurisdiction and aplicable Law in International Sales of Goods”
- “Contractual freedom and its limits under the CISG”
- “Aplicable conventions for the International Sales of Goods”
- “Formation of the contract of International Sales of Goods”
- “Obligation of the seller and buyer under the CISG”
- “Contractual breach under the CISG”
- “Remedies for breach of contract”
- “Breach of contract consecuences”
- “Passing of risk”
Administrative details.
Duration y dedication: 12 theoretical and practical classes and 1 extra class for the test. First class on Thursday and the rest on Wednesday from 15:30 to 18:30 h.
Start date: August 8th, 2013
Evaluation requirements: 75% of class attendance is compulsory.
Evaluation system: Theoretical and practical exam: paper in Spanish or English (case comment) and multiple choice reading test. Exchange Students: Theoretical and practical exam and multiple choice reading test.
Language: Study material will be in English as well the class given assignments. Complementary material in Spanish will be offered.
Intended for: Argentine and foreign lawyers. Advanced students in law. Foreign students.
